Jenrick Engineering are currently recruiting for a Process Technician on behalf of a leading foundry within the steel and iron castings industry. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is from a foundry background and looking to progress their career. Offering a salary c£30k with potential to be higher depending on experience. You will work closely with the Technical Manager ensuring you receive ongoing training as you undertake varied end-to-end project work.If you are interested in the role please 'APPLY NOW' via the job board.As a Process Technician, the role will involve:Working within a Casting Foundry as well as some work within the Laboratory (green sand)Some test work depending on work load - then analysing the dataCalibrating machinery weekly (roughly one a day)React to tests - hourly tests are required on site(Apply online only) shifts with a 30 minute paid break As a Process Technician you will have the following experience:Previously worked within a FoundryExperience as a Process Technician / Laboratory Technician with green sandStrong communication skills - ability to work alone as well as working as part of a teamNon-negotiable - experience of working with green sand and within a foundryIf you are interested, please send your CV over for an informal chat.Jenrick Engineering always has a wide range of contract and permanent engineering jobs available within the UK
