Procurement Manager - BIFG

As the Procurement Manager - BIFG , you'll play a crucial role in driving our business forward.

Furthermore, skilled negotiation and leadership abilities are required.

Your role involves being the functional lead on multiple New Product Development projects.

You will be responsible for developing inclusive procurement strategies that support objectives and the product innovation agenda.

The Key Requirements...

  • Functional lead on procurement of BIFG (Bought in Finished Goods)
  • Develop an understanding of key brands, their future development plans and build a knowledge base of suppliers and capabilities who can support this agenda.
  • As the functional lead on Project Teams to implement NPD you will be responsible for identifying the appropriate existing and potential suppliers, leading the evaluation and tendering process, awarding business, and managing the business communication links and negotiations involving the supplier.
  • Understand their needs of key business stakeholders their priorities, opportunities and challenges and understand how this will influence the delivery from our third-party suppliers.
  • Understand wider, macro trends and opportunities within relevant categories to forecast future cost changes.
  • As a Procurement Manager - BIFG , you possess exceptional skills in category management and strategic sourcing, ensuring consistent delivery of business performance.

    You have knowledge of food manufacturing, product development, and supply chain management and experience in Innovation Project Teams and overseeing multiple projects is valuable.

    Strong analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and negotiation skills are vital to your success in this role.

    You will be comfortable tracking and delivering against objectives and will have the opportunity to lead and develop inclusive procurement strategies that support company-wide objectives and product innovation.

    To be successful in this role will require resilience, effective decision-making, adaptability in communication, and relationship-building skills.
