Procurement Specialist in Hook

One of pharmaceutical clients is seeking a procurement associate to support a number of key spend categories.

The client:

We have a great relationship with this client and have placed over 20 temporary and permanent workers in the past year.

Majority of our contractors average 3+ years with this client

Our client is a pharmaceutical company known for its research and development of innovative medications in various therapeutic areas, including diabetes, oncology, neuroscience, immunology, and more.

As a global pharmaceutical company, our client operates in numerous countries around the world.

The role:

For this role they are seeking a candidate with that is comfortable with external interactions and negotiations, can manage multiple projects and internal customer groups and is able to interpret and evaluate multiple sources of information and make recommendations

The role is primarily responsible for supporting a number of key spend categories across the many varied affiliates’ Marketing, Medical, Sales and Support Services’ activities.

This requires working closely with internal clients and external companies to evaluate opportunities, define strategies and implement innovative solutions for the selection of suppliers and delivery of successful outcomes.

The requirements:

• Experience with procurement processes
• IT literacy, particularly with respect to Microsoft suite
• CIPS qualification and/or Procurement experience is preferred
