A specialist secondary school based in Trafford which caters for students with ADHD, SEMH, PMLD and challenging behaviour are looking for psychology graduates to join their school staff.

Key Responsibilities:To work alongside the class teacher and other members of staff to maintain a meaningful, supporting and secure learning environmentTo be part of a classroom team, under the direction of the class teacherTo participate in team meetings, reporting on pupil performanceTo support pupils with their personal and behavioural development.

The Ideal Candidate will:Have experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational NeedsHave the ability to demonstrate the value of education whilst keeping the pupils safeAn up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update serviceBe positive, dedicated and resilientHave a calm, patient and positive approach to your work and the ability to communicate well on all levels.

As a Behaviour Support Worker/Teaching Assistant you will gain solid experience working within the SEN sector.
