Quality Engineer in Heaton Chapel

This full-time Quality Engineer role is based in Stockport and offers a salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum with many attractive benefits.The core purpose of this job function is to provide Quality support to the assembly area, ensuring that both customer and internal requirements are met in line with appropriate standards and accreditations. This role may require occasional travel to Munich.During your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to take on some of the following:Be the key Quality support to the programme and assist with the transfer of knowledge from their parent company in Germany to the location at StockportUnderstand the customer requirements to develop, implement, and monitor effective quality assurance and control processes to improve and maintain the quality of products and processesDevise and review specifications to meet customer expectationsPromote continuous improvement using techniques such as A3, 8D, PFMEA, DMAIC, and the LEAN toolbox to maximise assembly opportunitiesManage all reported non-conformances through effective root cause analysis to ensure containment, corrective, and preventive actions are implementedWe are seeking a Quality Engineer applicant with a degree/HNC/HND in either Engineering or Quality.
