Quality Manager in Cornwall

Exciting Opportunity: Quality Manager Wanted!A really great food/drink manufacturer has had an opening for a Quality Manager role based in Cornwall. They're looking for someone to fit in with their great culture to bring their strong knowledge of BRC and Quality Management Systems to the team.As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet and exceed all quality standards. From implementing quality control processes to managing audits and certifications, you will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for excellence.Salary: £35-40k per year Shifts: Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities:* Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BRC standards and other relevant regulations.* Oversee quality control processes across all stages of production, from raw materials to finished products.* Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.* Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their quality requirements.Requirements:* Strong knowledge of BRC standards and other relevant quality regulations.* Proven experience in a quality management role within the food industry, preferably in a chilled environment.* Good exposure to working with retailers and understanding their quality requirements.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* HACCP and Food Safety Level 3 minimum.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.* A passion for quality and continuous improvement.Take this opportunity and drop us a call on (phone number removed) or email your CV over to (url removed).As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
