Sales Development Representative - EdTech (Scotland based)

£35,000 + Car Allowance + Uncapped commission

We're looking for someone who is based in Scotland, so you can visit Scotland customer sites. The business HQ is North Yorkshire.

Troi Search are delighted to be once again partnering with our child safeguarding client. We've already placed a huge percentage of the sales team, so know what we're looking for. The client have built a SaaS platform, which is used by over 70% of UK schools to help with the monitoring of child protection, safeguarding and a whole range of pastoral and welfare issues.

This software product genuinely reduces the chance of children being seriously injured or dying in care.

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help execute their outbound sales strategy and sell their suite of products to UK schools, academies, MATS & local authorities or indeed any institution that could benefit from safeguarding software.

* We are looking for this person to be living in Scotland to be close to Scotland based customer sites *

Key details:

• They're a remote first company, but for this role you must reside in Scotland as you'll be travelling at times to meet with Scottish customers.
• You'll work closely with the lead generation team to identify leads and then proactively seek to book in demo's and then hopefully close the sale.
• We do need previous outbound selling experience, this is a must. Education sales or selling to local authority is also a must have
• You'd consider yourself a "hunter" rather than a "farmer" when it comes to sales. We're after a genuine proactive sales approach. A 'cold desk' won't be something that fazes you.
• You might not know it yet, but you'll have a passion for child safeguarding and the software that's been built to protect children and young adults.
• Salary is £35,000 basic + Car allowance & a package that includes a well defined comms structure.
• The other important "MUST HAVE" is that you have access to own vehicle to travel to demos/client sites and events.
