It is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive practice and further your careerSemi Senior Accountant Position OverviewAccounts Preparation:Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, under the supervision of senior staff.Working with a variety of clients including limited companies, sole traders, LLP's and partnerships from a range of business sectorsTax Compliance:Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.Support senior staff in tax planning and advisory services for clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journals.Assist clients with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and provide guidance on accounting software usage.Client Management:Communicate with clients to gather financial information, address inquiries, and provide updates on the progress of work.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective client management.Assist in training and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.Semi Senior Accountant Position RequirementsMinimum of 2 years accountancy practice experienceAAT Level 3 or higher qualifiedCommutableUK citizenNo requirement for sponsorship Semi Senior Accountant Position RemunerationCompetitive salaryProgression opportunitiesA range of benefits to be discussed Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
