SEND Nurture Teacher - HarrogateEngage Education are currently working with an alternative provision in Harrogate looking for an experienced and dedicated SEMH Teacher.This school caters for pupils aged 8 to 16 years old who have complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) concerns. The school offers a variety of enriching educational opportunities for pupils including academic, functional and vocational skills.The school needs teachers for the following subjects: * Science * Construction * Mechanics * Design & TechnologyAs an SEMH teacher you will connect directly with young people, guiding them to get the very best from their education.The role requires a holistic approach, as academic development is only possible when you address the primary social and emotional needs first.This opportunity will suit teachers who have a passion and natural ability to engage hard to reach pupils and those with strong classroom presence.
