Teaching Personnel are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistants for a schools based in central Cornwall, including Redruth, Truro, and surrounding areas.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEND.

You will be able to manage a varied workload and learn new skills effectively.

Key facts about the role:£400-£450 per weekRedruth ASAP startSEN Teaching AssistantKey responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:To assist in monitoring and recording the progress of individual students in accordance with school procedures.

To work with teachers to identify and respond appropriately to students' individual needs, assisting students appropriately to achieve these.

Present agreed learning tasks in a clear manner to help maintain students' interest and motivation.

To provide information that supports the preparation and review of Individual Education Plans and to action appropriate tasks from IEPs.

Required experience and/or qualifications:A good standard of secondary education to enable you to support students effectively across the academic curriculum to GCSE.

Prior experience within a classroom environment and with pupil with SEND.

A willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
