This lovely Aintree based primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work closely with a small group of children and become part of their friendly team in the Autism base.

The post will be supporting classes and providing one to one support to children and children aged 7-11 with Autism.

Any previous experience supporting Autism would be highly beneficial.

The school is a large mainstream primary school that has additional SEND provision for those pupils that need it.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours.

A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

The school has an excellent reputation and is very welcoming and supportive.

The setting is centred on pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.
