SEND Teaching Assistants requiredNorthway School, BarnetDay-to-day, short-term and long-term roles£87-£99 per dayThe Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Northway School in Barnet to find experienced and committed SEND TAs to work in their school in a mix of day-to-day cover, short-term and long-term roles.
Experience of working with SEN is mandatory for these roles as you will be working with children with a mix of needs, prodominently ASD.
We are looking for those with a caring and nurturing background who are willing to be hands on and proactive.
Experience with Team Teach or Makaton would be preferred but is not mandatory.
The school has two sites with the main site based in Mill Hill and the Infants site in Barnet.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure your pupil/ pupils are engaged in lessons and completing their work as necessaryProvide support to your pupil/ pupils both inside and outside of the classroomAssist the class teacher in managing pupils’ behaviourAssist the class teacher with setting up activities and displays when neededRequirementsPrevious experience in an education or childcare role is essentialPrevious experience working with individuals with Special needs is essentialMust have the Right to Work in the UKMust hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process oneMust be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employmentBenefitsFree CPDDedicated consultant to inform you of available rolesExclusive access to multiple Academy trusts in LondonFlexible working arrangementsIf you are interested in this role please apply now and a member of the Supply Register Team will be in touch
