Would you like to work in the first ever mainstream school in Manchester to have an internal Special Educational Needs provision?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Gorton who are opening an internal Special Education Needs provision that can provide high quality education for all pupils.

This academy is looking for a number of new support staff who can work in this provision, that will have 4 classes.

The successful candidates will also have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives. 

Job Duties:Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and developmentAssisting teachers in implementing individual education plansProviding one-on-one or small group support to studentsHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assisting with classroom management and behaviour supportRequired Qualifications:Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsRelevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team.

The head teacher is open to a number of different experienced applicants:Graduates who are looking for a career in education.

Background in sports coaching, care settings and youth work encouraged to apply.

Candidates must be flexible and adaptable to working within a new environment.

Previous experience in SEN or school settings.
