Teaching personnel currently have very exciting opportunities and are hiring for SEN teaching assistants across Hackney and surrounding areas!

You will be working with one of our partners mainstream primary schools.

We have a variety of different roles available and can accommodate to if you’d like to work full time or you would like more flexibility.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with SEMH and/or AutismProvide education and emotional support to all young learners within the schoolWork with other staff members to ensure pupil’s progress is monitored and adjusted to meet the pupil’s needsBe confident in your approach when engaging with learners with SEMH and/or AutismWe are keen to speak to people about this SEN Teaching Assistant role with the following skills and experience:Experience in supporting young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH) and/or AutismExperience in supporting pupils in a specialist provision would be ideal but we are also keen to hear from mainstream teaching Assistants looking to move to an SEN settingThe successful SEN TA must share the school’s ethos of working as a whole school team to ensure all the pupil’s academic and emotional needs are metCommutable to Haringey and Hackney, LondonExperience helping students in a specialist facility would be excellent, however we are also interested in hearing from mainstream teaching assistants looking to relocate to a SEN environment.
