Iconic Resourcing are delighted to bring a Senior Accountant opportunity as we are working closely with our International clients in Renfrewshire. This role will report into the Finance Manager and you will support 3 groups in the business and deliver accurate and timely results in the accounting and reporting team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Profit and loss account and balance sheet trends and variances
• Review and approval activities at month end, including high risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• General ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepancies
• Balance sheet deep dives and present outcomes to stakeholders
• Point of contact for internal stakeholders
• The timeliness of financial reporting for the EMEA region
• Monthly business reviews with stakeholders
• A variety of special projects as and when requested

Skills and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA)
• Able to organise and prioritise multiple complex situations
• Accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the role
• High level of proactivity to drive continuous improvement
• Deep technical accounting expertise
• Strong investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Comfortable communicating with and presenting to various stakeholders
• Solid understanding of US GAAP (Desired but not crucial)
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organisation
• Proficient in MS Excel
