Senior Designer - Mechanical in Barrow-in-Furness

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Designer - Mechanical with a background in the nuclear or defence sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in Barrow, with site visits 2 days every 2 weeks.

What you will be doing:You will be producing 3D models of either Pipe routes, HVAC systems or mechanical compartment arrangements using the CAD toolsetYour responsibilities will also include producing 2D drawings and electronic data and BoM item development to a fast - paced schedule to support manufacturing, installation, and testing of our productsDevelop and maintain close working relationships with other Design team members and Stakeholders who are working towards the same common goalWorking as a team to produce an Integrated Design that meets our client's expectations and agreed set of requirements Your skills and experiences:Understanding of CAD toolsets and techniques e.

Foran, Solidworks and Siemens NX etc.
