This is a company undergoing significant development and expansion, particularly in their B2C business, so they are looking for an individual who embraces changes and continuous improvement, and the challenges and opportunities that come with growth!What will the role involve?Responsibility for both short and long term production plansClose collaboration with Purchasing to develop the material plan, highlighting constraints and adjusting production plans accordinglyChairing Production Scheduling meetings and agreeing plans with the Production teamHighlighting short-term and long-term capacity constraintsManaging data within MRP/ERP system (production rates, yield etc.)Monitoring forecast accuracy and variances to previous cyclesDeveloping and maintaining relevant KPIs for production and planningSupporting and enabling change projects and process improvementsIdeal Skills and ExperiencePrevious production planning experience, ideally in a SME environmentAdvanced knowledge of MS ExcelPrevious experience with MRP/ERP systemsAbility to work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and react to changes in demand or supply where necessaryVery strong communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of stakeholder engagement and relationship managementWant to recruit a similar role?Cast UK is a leading executive consultancy, providing national recruitment solutions to both clients and candidates.
