Due to continued growth, D2 is looking for an experienced Senior Developer to join our Digital Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality software solutions for both the internal company and our clients. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other developers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions that meet the clients' requirements. Supporting projects on both the international and domestic portfolio making this an exciting opportunity to join a growing Consultancy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of software solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other developers to design and develop software solutions.
  • Translate client requirements into understandable feature requests and scopes.
  • Produce product proposals, roadmaps, and timelines.
  • Accurately predict time requirements for features and projects.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Test and debug software solutions to ensure they meet the clients' requirements.
  • Write automated tests for software.
  • Ensure the software solutions meet industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
  • Mentor and train junior developers.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
  • Write clear system documentation at both high-level overview, and technical level detail.
  • Ensure correct source control principals are followed on all projects.
  • Follow and lead the software development agile lifecycle through the use of tools such as Jira.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in software development on multiple platforms and levels.
  • Fluent in a coding language such as C# and JavaScript.
  • Experienced in frameworks such as .NET and ReactJS.
  • Experience in working with Unity games development and WebGL implementation.
  • Experience with data structure, design and database systems.
  • BSC degree or equivalent in a computer science or software development.
  • Agile Fundamentals Training & Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) Certification Training (desired)
  • Specialist Technology or Platform certification such as AWS or Microsoft certification, Associate /Level 2 industry certification. (desired)
  • PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (desired)
