Due to company growth, we are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer for a global supplier of ultrasound products.

This company are leaders in their field developing acoustic materials and ultrasound for a range of various industries including medical and automotive.

You will be joining a team of 5 engineers and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but established company which is part of a group of companies, with excellent employee retention.

The job role:The Senior Software Engineer will have the following roles and responsibilities: * Architect and lead the development of high quality software applications in LabVIEW for ultrasonic measuring systems * Provide technical support to clients * Write technical software documentation * Mentor member of the software team to develop their LabVIEW skills * Liaise with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues * The Requirements:Ideally for the role of Senior Software Engineer you will have the following: * Degree qualified in STEM subject / discipline * Ideally 3 years or more designing applications using LabVIEW * You will be a Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) * Experience working in a scrum framework * Knowledge and experience working with source code * Prior experience working within ultrasound would be very desirable but not essentialThe Package:For the position of Senior Software Engineer, you will receive the following remuneration: * Salary circa £45,000 - £55,000 * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Auto-enrollment pension * Healthcare cash plan * Employee bike scheme * Free parking and kitchen facilitiesKeywords: Ultrasounds, software engineer, LabVIEWLocation: This role is based just outside Dorchester and is commutable from Brockhampton, Puddletown, Blandford Forum and the Wareham and Swanage areas.
