Senior Statistician in London

Hobson Prior is seeking a Senior Statistician for a permanent role based in London.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of statistical methods and will be able to apply these to everyday tasks.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of work from other team members and will contribute to the development of statistical strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Use your knowledge of statistical methods to solve complex problems.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Ensure that all work is accurate, high quality, and completed within agreed timelines.
• Check the work of other team members.
• Help design and analyse studies, using a range of statistical methods and software.
• Write Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and prepare statistical inputs for key documents and presentations.
• Contribute to the development of statistical strategies for studies.

Requirements

• You should have a Master's degree in statistics or biostatistics.
• You should have experience in clinical research.
• You should have a strong understanding of statistical methods, the drug development process, and good programming practices.
• You should be familiar with CDISC standards.
• You should be able to plan, supervise, implement and monitor the statistical processes for multiple clinical trials.
• You should be familiar with ICH-GCP and other relevant legislation.
• Experience in managing vendors would be beneficial.
