You will be given accredited training, alongside the opportunity to move across departments or progress into a managerial role. The day to day responsibilities of this role involves diagnosing machines for repair and carrying out routine maintenance on agricultural or plant equipment either out in the field covering a 10/15 mile radius of Newport, or in the workshop. You will also be required to use a phone/tablet to upload your completed work. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Mechanical and Electrical background (either a qualification or relevant apprenticeship) and ideally have experience in repairing heavy plant equipment, or forklift, heavy vehicles or diesel engines.
