Site Maintenance EngineerThe RoleWe are currently recruiting for a General Maintenance Engineer to carry out PPM and Reactive Activities to a key contract in Coventry. The engineer will also cover another site in Newark a couple of day each MonthMain Responsibilities * To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the site service engineer’s and Contract Delivery Manager. Including, but not limited to fault finding, test, repair and preventative maintenance equipment, systems and services. * To close / update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system. * Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required. * Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices. * Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes. * To follow the appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems. * The post holder will support the static and mobile Site Services Officers / Engineers. * Ability to fault find and rectify. * To support the site service engineer’s, contract management & admin team through the operations office, dealing with day to day engineering & other contract issues * Record engineering performance * An ability to communicate with others effectively; this will include clients and end users. * To have a flexible approach to working times so as to suit the client & business requirements. * Respond to emergency situations in both normal & OOH working times. OOHs occasionally only if and when covering for service engineers due to annual leave or sickness. * To support the organising and direction of subcontractor labour as necessary. * Conduct asset collections & condition surveys to assist the site service engineer’s and Contract Delivery Manager. * Maintain Health & Safety records and ensure good practice. * Other duties as requested by the site service engineer’s and Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the contracts within the region. * Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times. * Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works. * To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management. * Attend site emergencies and callouts, outside of normal working hours. Occasionally only if and when covering for service engineers due to annual leave or sickness. * Carry out tasks within typical plant room environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided.Qualifications & Experience * Current Full UK driving licence. * A good awareness of Health & Safety working practices. * Understanding of basic electrical works, plumbing and general DIY & basicApplyingPlease ensure you upload your full up-to-date CV to fully support your application.All candidates are required to provide valid ID and Right to Work documentation at interview.All successful candidates must be able to pass a DBS check at Integral's cost
