Site Manager Position - HerefordSalary £50K - £55K+, depending on experience. Plus Car allowance,Full-Time, Permanent RoleStart Date: May 2024The RoleWe at SWG Group seek a seasoned Senior Site Manager to join our dynamic team, leading a broad range of commercial, industrial or residential projects (new build and refurbishment) in the Hereford area.The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project, ensuring its completion within budget, on schedule, and to the highest safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities * Oversee, organise, and direct on-site construction activities from inception to completion. * Coordinate and supervise a diverse team of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour. * Uphold compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensure milestones are met, and adjust plans as necessary. * Monitor project costs and budget, implementing cost-saving measures as required. * Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration. * Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify and address any issues or delays. * Prepare and submit project reports and documentation as requiredEssential Skills and Qualifications * A minimum of 5 years experience in construction site management * Relevant construction management degree or equivalent qualification * Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, etc.) * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification * CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cardholder (Preferred) * First Aid at Work qualification * Full UK driving licenceHow to ApplyTo express interest in this exciting opportunity, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.Please note: No agencies, please.SWG Group is an equal opportunities employer, and we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in our workforce.
