Empowering Learning are looking for a resilient ASD Teacher to join one of our diverse specialist schools in the Walsall area.

The current schools need someone who will strive to create a respectful, safe, positive learning environment where the dignity and growth of pupils is your highest priority.

You will be working with a broad spectrum of special needs such as PMLD, SLD/MLD, ADHD and behavioural needs.

The ideal candidate needs…- Qualified Teacher Statues (QTS) or a relevant qualification.

- Positive and passionate about working in a specialist provision, SEN school or with special needs pupils.

- To be able to collaborate with Support Staff to create a nurturing environment.

- Provide specialised teaching and support pupils needs.

- Develop and differentiate the curriculum to the needs of the class and individual pupils to allow pupils to thrive.

Experience:- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education setting- Familiarity with tutoring or providing additional support to students with diverse learning needs- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleaguesWhy work with Empowering Learning?
