Role: Sports CoachSalary: £375 - £425 per weekLocation: StockportStart Date: MayContract: Full-time, Long-term contractSimply Education is working with a School in Stockport seeking a sports coach to work in a mixed Primary and Secondary SEMH setting in Stockport. As a Sports Coach you will be responsible for building rapport and inspiring students to reengage with their learning.The role:We are looking for someone to work in the therapeutic provision of the School alongside an outdoor education instructor. You will support with learning outside the classroom, in the garden and support with animal care. The role will include a combination of general Teaching assistant duties with an element of sports on specific days and a lot of outdoor learning. You will be responsible for supporting students on a 1:1 basis or as part of a small group. Our students do have varied special educational needs including Autism and ADHD. As a result, there can be rare incidences of behaviour when our students become overwhelmed. Therefore, it is important that you are patient, empathetic and nurturing in your approach.
