Teacher of Music – Full Time – Permanent RoleVNA Education is looking for a Music Teacher for a Secondary school in the Redbridge area.

This role will be a full-time position starting September 2024.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils and effectively manage a classroom, whilst creating a safe space for students to thrive in performing arts,CONTRACT DETAILS: * Location – Redbridge Area * Position – Music Teacher * Type of work – Music Teacher in a secondary school * Contract or position start date – September 2024 * Contract type – Permanent.

* Full time/part time – Full time * Salary - £34,514 - £51,179EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: * QTS, QTLS or equivalent.

* Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK.

* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.

* Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.

* Provide two professional related references.

RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plan, deliver, and assess engaging music lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.

* Inspire creativity, musical expression, and technical skills in students.

* Teach music theory, performance, and appreciation.

Lead extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.

* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculum.

* Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.

* Adapt teaching to respond to strengths and needs of pupils.
