At TP Tutors we are currently working with Local Authorities and Schools, specifically in the Gateshead and Hartlepool area, who are seeking Tutors and Teaching Assistants to support vulnerable children with the transition back into a mainstream setting.

This role requires an individual to work closely with 2 children on a 1-1 basis, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to support them both with their transition back into a mainstream setting.

Part of this role may include working with children outside of a mainstream setting.

TA Requirements:Substantial TA/HTLA experience.

Experience of working with young people with SEND/SEMH and other additional needs.

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes.

An Enhance Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided)Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
