This role is a great opportunity for a graduate, former teaching assistant, care or youth worker looking for more responsibility and experience in supporting students. This position is full time & temporary with the potential opportunity to go permanent if the role is a good fit.

To be considered for the position of teaching assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Confident with Maths, Science and English to a GCSE level
  • Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check- Child only

Duties will include:

  • Developing the character of the young people
  • Boosting self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Being a positive role model for students
  • Supporting inside and outside the classroom
  • Providing 1-2-1 and small group support
  • Safeguarding pupils and protecting their well-being

  • Full time role Monday-Friday
  • Working with students aged 11-18 years
  • Competitive salary from £11.85 per hour
  • Weekly pay via PAYE
