This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of examinations and maintaining the integrity of the assessment processes.

* Assist and support the Exams Manager in managing daily tasks related to the summer public exam season.

* Ensure that all exams are conducted per the regulations set by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).

* Help in securely downloading necessary exam papers from exam board secure websites for students using reading software.

* Securely download sound files from exam board secure websites for relevant exams.

* Make sure that all exam accommodations are set up according to the specified requirements.

* Help the exam invigilators in setting up the exam rooms.

* Handle any unexpected issues or irregularities that may arise and could impact the conduct of examinations.

* Help in ensuring that all exams start promptly at their scheduled times.

* Gather information regarding absent students from each exam room.

* Contact absent students if required * Provide supervision for students with exam clashes as necessary.

* Assist the Exams Manager in securely storing and dispatching exam scripts for marking.

* Create a dispatch list for Parcelforce for each exam day.

Skills and Attributes * Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of the exam system * Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships and effective communication with colleagues, students, and other stakeholders.

* Skilled in using various software applications for administrative tasks, data management, and communication.

* Excellent ability to organise tasks, set priorities, and allocate time effectively to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.

* Attention to detail and precision in completing tasks to maintain accuracy and quality of work.

* Ability to remain calm, focused, and productive when faced with tight deadlines or challenging situations.

* Adaptability to changing circumstances and willingness to adjust priorities or approaches as needed to achieve objectives.
