Test and Quality Engineer Location: GlasgowJob Type: PermanentSalary: £40,000 DOEIndustry: SwitchgearAbout the opportunityMy client are a leading switchgear business operating in multiple industries such as Transmission & Distribution, Marine and Oil & Gas.The Test & Quality Engineer will be responsible for safe and effective testing of Low Voltage LV and High Voltage Switchgear, using various equipment, techniques and methodologies.DeliverablesFactory Acceptance Testing FATs of LV Equipment Supporting assembly technicians in Root Cause Analysis to effect corrective actions Conduct final point of production Quality Checks Person RequirementsRecognised Electrical / Electronic Qualifications Knowledge of HV and LV switchgear and associated equipment e.g. Circuit Breakers, Fuses etc. Full understanding of Electrical Schematics Relevant Manufacturing industry experience e.g. Transmission & Distribution, Oil & Gas, Power Generation etc. TagsFactory Acceptance Testing, FAT, Site Acceptance Testing SAT, Switchgear, Quality Engineering, ISO9001, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Transmission & Distribution, InspectionThis company is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
