TeacherActive are looking for enthusiastic and professional Tutors for our Secondary schools in Liverpool.
We work with children services, and inclusive learning services to enable Looked After Children to make progress in line with their non-looked after peers.
We work with a wide-range of Looked After Children in care who have a diverse set of needs.
Tutors provide learning assistance for young people preparing for exams or re-adjusting to mainstream education.
We are currently seeking tutors for home tuition and school based supporting students with the biggest focus on delivering core skills in English, Maths and behaviour specialists.
You will be able to work full time or part time depending on your personal preference of working hours.
As a Tutor you will require the following:Excellent communication skillsAt least 6 months experience within an educational environmentExperience working with pupils on a 1-1 basisA passion for making a difference to young people’s learningPositive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self regulate emotionsUnderstanding and appreciation of working with vulnerable young people in the care system and those with SENIn return for the above, you can expect to receive:A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7Guaranteed Payment Scheme *Terms and Conditions apply*CPD courses and certificates as part of our ‘My-Progression’ brandMarket leading rates of payReferral scheme – Receive up to £200 when you refer a friend *Terms and Conditions apply*Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
