Salt are partnering with an established beauty brand to bring them 2 project managers for a period of 3-4 months while they look to make permanent hires.

This brand are renowned in their space, so they need someone to come in and hit the ground running on this.

Job Overview

As Creative Operations Executive you will work as part of a Creative team that manage and deliver Creative Output for a selection of brands that your cluster is responsible for. This will involve the delivery of a vast range of projects including Department Store refits and openings, counter relocations, Primary and Secondary Launch Campaigns, Pop Ups, Permanent VM updates, Lightbox Updates.

You will be an aspiring Project Manager with a keen interest in creative execution and assist with the planning and execution of entire projects from planning stage right through to completion ensuring that best in class processes and procedures are followed.

Your primary goal will be to ensure VM projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst ensuring that brand guidelines are carefully followed.

Key responsibilities

  • the team by managing key tasks within creative projects (e.g. store construction) whilst managing some VM creative projects end-to-end (e.g. light box roll outs, locator updates, pop ups).
  • closely with and brief vendors.
  • multi-discipline project update meeting and where necessary ensure appropriate and detailed minutes are produced.
  • your brand cluster, keep the Project Management Tool (an internal database which tracks all projects undertaken by the department) up to date
  • and distribute regular project reports to project stakeholders.
  • Senior Creative Operations Managers and Creative Operations Manager on the management of paperwork and processes.
  • with suppliers to obtain cost estimates.
  • all documentation required in relation to raising of Appropriation Requests (Capex Budget).
  • with finance team on an ongoing basis to track capex and purchase orders. Some chasing of these will be required.
  • any cost saving initiatives via the same system and in collaboration with procurement.
  • the team, continually seek opportunities and enhancements to improve project schedule delivery timescale, including post audit of prior projects to aid future installations
  • with the brand and the property services team to help manage maintenance issues when required
  • brand equity is always maximized, in conjunction with brand and retailer guidelines

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years experience ideally in the Retail Industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Production experience
  • Knowledge of local retailer requirements
  • Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required
  • Ability to interpret CAD files and communicate in the appropriate terminology

Day rate

Up to 325 inside IR35

Hybrid/remote

Hybrid 3 days a week in office
