The candidate must have a valid CSCS card and have at least 5 years’ experience of welding heavy construction plant and equipment and have relevant qualifications.

The candidate will be required to use their own initiative and judgement in the role, and they must know when to refer issues to the Yard Manager/Supervisor.

They must be both focussed and thorough and have the credibility to advise senior management when something needs immediate redress.

The candidate should always have a conscientious and caring attitude towards their work and fellow workmates.
