Position – Welder/FabricatorLocation – Proudoe, NewcastleHourly Rate – Up to £16 per hour DOEShifts – Day shift (Early finish on a Friday)About the company:Theo James Recruitment is delighted to support a dynamic Engineering company for their search for a Welder/Fabricator to join their rapidly expanding team. The core responsibilities of this position involve the fabrication, welding, and installation of various equipment, encompassing pipework, bracketry, guards, and machinery access components.Responsibilities: * Conduct precise TIG welding on both stainless steel and mild steel. * Prepare welding equipment, select suitable filler materials, and adjust welding parameters for different aluminium materials. * Demonstrate experience in working at customer sites while strictly adhering to safety regulations. * Measure and fabricate guards, pipework, and brackets as needed. * Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. * Collaborate within a team or work independently when necessary. * Show enthusiasm and a willingness to share knowledge with others. * Install a range of pipework sizes, from 25mm to 500mm, utilizing both screw and weld methods.Skills & Experience: * TIG Welding experience (Desirable) * Time served or equivalent * Fabrication experience * Pipe fitting experience
