Our small, busy practice looks after around 200 clients from various industries.

We view ourselves as part of our clients’ team, providing day-to-day support as well as traditional services.

We are looking for a recently qualified Accountant who is looking to move to a position where you can really make a difference.

About the Role:As a Senior Accountant at Blitz Gooday, you'll report directly to the Head of Practice and play a pivotal role in the firm.

Your responsibilities will include: *    Being the first point of contact for clients *    Preparation and review of statutory accounts *    Management accounting *    Tax compliance work and advice *    Onboarding new clients *    Utilising your expertise in Xero, VAT, and payroll *    Assisting with various tasks as needed *    Early involvement in business development and marketing activities *    Ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the practice *    Taking ownership of budgets and deadlines *    Providing mentoring and training as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:We're looking for someone who: *    Is recently qualified as an accountant and eager to make a difference *    Is proactive and able to work well independently and as part of a wider team *    Enjoys responsibility and thinking outside the box *    Is an all-rounder, proficient in accounts preparation and tax returns *    Excels in time management and meeting deadlines *    Thrives on learning new skills *    Is motivated, enthusiastic, and personable with excellent communication skills *    Enjoys regular client contactWhy choose us?
