Accounts Administrator in Stockport

We’re looking for an Accounts Administrator to join one of the country’s leading precision engineering firms at their site based in Stockport.The candidate we are looking for will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the companies bookkeeping, along with other general administrative duties.What’s on offer? * £27,000 per year * Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm * 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * Job stability & progression opportunities * Onsite parking & canteen * Unionised workplace * Hands on, supportive managementWhat will you be doing as an Accounts Administrator? * Managing weekly payroll * Handling monthly invoicing for customers and suppliers * Preparing monthly P&L reports * Maintaining records for auditors * Reconciling accounts, including balancing petty cash * Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones and greeting visitors * Accessing customer portals for invoicing * Maintaining office stocks and equipmentWhat do you need? * Previous experience in a similar role * To be able to demonstrate examples of previous successes in a similar role * A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes & ERP tools * Comfortability with problem solving and working in a teamThis is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable team with an exciting future ahead.
