The role is office based in Nottingham and a salary of up to £27,000 is available.ROLE DETAILSYour role as an Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the accounts function, carrying out duties related to sales and purchase ledger.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:-       Taking care of administrative tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing-       Monitoring the accounts inbox, including responding and dealing with suppliers, dealing with year-end and general accounts queries.-       Creating sales invoices from worksheets including profit margins, dealing with credit notes and receivables.-       Processing supplier invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements and payables.-       Reconcile credit card statements.-       Dealing with aged creditors and debtorsREQUIRED SKILLSThe Accounts Assistant will have the majority of the following experience:-       AAT qualified or any other similar qualification-       Proven experience/knowledge of double bookkeeping and understanding how sales and purchase ledger are connected.-       Experience working with accounting systems (Xero/Sage) is preferrable-       Good knowledge of Microsoft word and excelSALARY:Basic salary up to £27,000LOCATIONOffice based in Nottingham.
