Accounts Receivable Assistant in Dunfermline

Are you an ambitious finance professional with experience working on sales ledgers and in credit control?

Three Bridges Recruitment are looking to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant with great technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills, to assist a tight knit finance team working for a well-known organisation in Dunfermline. The position will be a 6-month contract to help reduce aged debt and ensure smooth Accounts Receivable operation for the foreseeable.

Job

The role of Accounts Receivable Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

• Bad debt provision preparation and posting journal into accounting system
• Working with a Debt Collection agency to oversee customer debts, including dealing with client queries and legal instructions
• Managing Customer discounts
• Making refund payments to customers
• Allocating cash received to customer accounts
• Debt reporting
• Managing Finance mailbox (shared task)
• Ad hoc project work to improve processes

You

As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

• Experience in a similar role essential
• Experience working in credit control desirable
• Great communicator
• Problem solver
• Ability to get started right away meaning a good understanding of accounting basics and Excel
