Your New Role As Assistant Accountant:
Reporting to the finance lead, you shall ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions whilst maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures. as Assistant Accountant in a varied role, you shall also look to enable the analytical reporting, whilst also supporting in the creation of new budgets. This new role will assist in the day to day financial administration, as well as assisting in month-end duties. A varied role, which shall help the company to enhance its visibility of the financials, you shall be pivotal in assisting the stakeholders awareness of spend and profitability. As well as managing the ledgers, you shall be involved in the budget setting process. A new concept to areas of the business, the budget and tracking of this area will be something to develop in time. You shall seek to develop the analysis available, digging deep into the data available and enabling cost across many areas.
Main Role Duties:
Maintenance over the purchase/sales and general ledgers recording journal entries and making amendments where required.
Keeping up-to-date files for invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Reconciling bank accounts and other financial reports
Maintenance of financial statements.
Support the preparation of regular financial reports, as well as the preparation on balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Work closely with stakeholders and the senior accounting team to analyse commercial data, identifying trends or discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to expense policies and reconcile expenses against budgets.
Accurately input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.
Preparation of department budgets
Support the sales teams in the production of KPI management with review periods
Support ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
Experienced across the duties outlined above, you shall have a proven track record of adding value in a varied role, and also be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of strong financial control, and have an understanding of month-end routine in an SME environment. With an analytical mind and someone who is self motivated, you shall also be a proactive person, and able to work on your won initiative. This is a real opportunity for someone to add value in a growing business, the ability to work as part a team, whilst also bringing new ideas to the table is essential. You shall be sufficiently qualified (Qualification or QBE status) and have good excel skills.
