A well-established SME is looking to expand its finance team by recruiting a new Assistant Management Accountant. With support from the Head of Finance, there is scope for this role to develop into a fully fledged Management Accountant/Finance Manager role in the medium term.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:

Working in a small and friendly finance team, you will enjoy a diverse role which provides exposure across all areas of finance. Duties will include:

•Assisting with management accounts production
•Posting accruals, prepayments and journals
•Bank reconciliations
•Balance sheet reconciliations
•VAT returns
•Supporting with budget preparation
•Working cross-functionally throughout the business with regular contact with stakeholders at various levels to provide financial information to aid decision making

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will have good grounding exposure across transactional accounting and double entry bookkeeping, and be committed to further developing your skills within a fast-paced finance function. Strong communication skills are required as you will be required to respond to various queries from internal and external stakeholders.
