    Purpose

    To assist the Finance Business Partner with providing quality MI. To work with the central transactional finance team to assist with producing the management accounts from journal stage to monthly packs and detailed forecasting and budgeting.

    Key responsibilities

  • Assist with providing high quality MI and detailed commercial financial analysis of the operations to support decision making.
  • Assist with MI for Department Heads to review financial results and forecasts.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual departmental budgets.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reforecasts.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly packs for monthly Business Review and attend meeting.
  • Assist with the preparation of MI for European Group Finance team.
  • Prepare event settlements, event flash and sales reports, and weekly performance trackers.
  • Assist with preparation of reports for landlords/external stakeholders.
  • Prepare month end journals and process in Finance System.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support with the preparation of audit files and audit queries.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Prepare workings for venue VAT return on a quarterly basis.
  • Completion of FEU return.
  • Completion of PRS return.
  • Calculation of promoter rebates.
  • Carry out safe/petty cash counts and reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc project work as directed by the Finance Business Partner.
  • Skills and competencies required

    Essential:

  • Qualified AAT/Finance degree/relevant finance experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas and ideally macros.
  • Have excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Be resilient and able to work well under pressure and work reactively and proactively.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
