We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Physiotherapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Middlesex.

They are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist with previous Paediatric experience.

Job DescriptionYou will be an autonomous practitioner providing physiotherapy to children with developmental difficulties and complex needs within special schools and preschool.

This will include assessment and treatment, teaching staff and families, assessment for equipment and risk assessments.

Additionally, you will be required to provide musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy for a cohort of children aged 0-16 years old based within the a NHS clinic.

A significant proportion of these children will have English as an additional language (EAL).

He/she will be expected to manage their own caseload, travelling between community and acute settings and working alongside teaching, medical and nursing staff to ensure specialist therapy programmes and educational plans are in place for children under their care.

The main specific areas of responsibility for this post are:1.

Providing specialist Physiotherapy services to children and young people with a variety of conditions within Harrow both in the community and acute settingsProviding specialist advice, programmes and treatment plans to others regarding the management and care of CYP with physical difficultiesPosition Requirements•HCPC Registered•Minimum of two years postgraduate experience•Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Physiotherapy setting Benefits of Working of IMC•Highly competitive rates of pay•3 month (minimum) locum assignment to start as soon as possible•Full time hours (Monday - Friday)•The successful candidate will be working within a strong team.
