Burman Recruitment are partnering with a university based in London looking to add a Business Analyst to their team to assist with a complex migration of their payroll system!

We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in the Workday finance system to support our financial operations and drive efficiency through system optimisation and enhancement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather and analyse business requirements related to financial processes and systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday finance system-related queries, issues, and enhancements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing financial processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to implement and configure Workday finance system changes, including customisations, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and test plans.
• Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective utilisation of the Workday finance system.
• Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, patches, and industry best practices to ensure our financial systems remain current and aligned with organisational objectives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the higher education sector.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Workday finance system, including configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools is desirable.
