Summary of the Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the Green Rhino® brand. Covering the southern region of the United Kingdom, you will inherit a list of clients, including major national merchants, offering substantial growth opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

Driving End User Growth:

  • Educate end users on our smarter pollution prevention products.
  • Self-generate leads through various methods and hunt for deals with end users.

Supporting Channel Partners:

  • Collaborate with wholesale channel partners, making Green Rhino a profitable growth opportunity.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams of channel partners to enhance our product visibility.

Strategic Planning:

  • Build and communicate strategic plans to maximise national sales opportunities.
  • Harmonise channel partner landscape with appropriate pricing tiers and support packages.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help educate end users and build profitable growth with channel partners.
  • Self-generate leads using all available methods.
  • Harmonise channel partner landscape with appropriate pricing tiers and support packages.
  • Build and communicate strategic plans for maximising national sales opportunities.
  • Take a lead role in managing a predefined list of existing channel partners.
  • Onboard new channel partners in line with company strategy.
  • Keep comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date records of client interaction and activity.
  • Work with the marketing department to build client well-being and opportunities.
  • Build monthly sales forecasts that are well-qualified and as accurate as possible.
  • Be an integral part of increasing the company’s presence within the market and new markets.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Track and analyse competitive activity, providing feedback to the business.
  • Plan campaigns with marketing departments.
  • Work closely with the Product Development team when necessary.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and sales meetings when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrable experience working with top 100 contractors, utility companies, or house builders.
  • A 'doer' willing to put in hard work for long-term success.
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively to team efforts.
  • Clear and measured communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent listener and problem solver.
  • Positive, dynamic, and ambitious with an entrepreneurial growth mindset.
  • Passionate, driven, and determined to deliver results within a small company with big aspirations.
  • Ability to work from the business’s office in Ipswich when not traveling within the southern region.
  • Ability to participate in some international travel.
