Chief Technology Officer in Hill

How interesting would a "serious" CTO role be for you with a genuine market leader, a UK based business with a global reach impacting the lives of literally billions across the world by continuing to push the boundaries' of their Life Sciences R&D products & services?

Their continued success has not gone unnoticed by the powers that be as they have recently caught the attention of big institutional money.

They've been doing very well up until now, but things are about to get a whole lot better.

Broadly speaking as a business this is where they are:

• Established for over 50 years
• Global headcount of circa 500 across 3 continents
• $85m revenues
• Current bias is 60% SaaS generated with a target of 80% in Saas revenues
• Circa 800 clients from across the globe

Initial tech projects will focus on:

• Overseeing the delivery of SaaS based product delivery globally
• Overseeing the building out true DevSecOps across a global organisation with measurable KPIs
• Implement fully Agile principles across all software engineering disciplines
• Complete modernisation to a commercial cloud environment
• Fully migrate from monolithic to service-oriented architecture SOA

In addition there will of course be both the leadership and strategic responsibilities' expected at C-Suite level.

To be considered you must have (respectfully, if these don't match your profile we won't be able to consider your application I'm afraid):

• Previous success at CTO level (or similar) within the Life Sciences or IT Healthcare industry
• Demonstrate successfully transformation and adoption of global DevSecOps, with particular attention to security, scalability and accountability
• "Modernising" an enterprise/commercial cloud environment
• Implementing full Agile processes for bringing SaaS products to a global market
• Migration from Monolithic to SOA

Basic salary of circa £200,000
