Job Title: Civil EngineerLocation: LeicesterPay/Day rate/Salary (salary for perm roles): Starting from £30,000 and upwardsType: Office BasedStart Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)We are hiring for a Civil Engineer that has proven experience within the construction and building industry who can commute to projects in the Leicester area.

Duties of a Civil EngineerIn this role you will be working with the Design Team to achieve their goals and work to tight deadlines.

You will be responsible for:Detailed technical input and ensuring quality of work output on projects.

Report writing.

Managing projects.

Ensuring that the project is undertaken to the specified budget and that all project-related fees and disbursements are accurately recorded and expediently recovered.

Supervise the work of more junior staff and sub-consultantsSkills RequiredAs a civil engineer, you need have experience with;• 5+ years' experience in civil engineering• Ability to prepare fee proposals and project manage a commission from start to finishIt would be beneficial to the Civil Engineer role if you also had;• Knowledge of Microdrainage, site 3D and Civils 3d• Working towards Chartership IEng, EngTech or CEng MICEBenefitsThis clients offers:Salary and benefits packages very competitive.
