The ApprenticeshipAs a Degree apprentice here with Amey Consulting, you’ll be given real responsibility from day one, gaining invaluable experience working alongside your team designing some of the most innovative and exciting highways infrastructure across the UK.

The course offers a balance of vocational and theoretical content.

You'll develop your general understanding of civil engineering, focusing on key core subject areas: geotechnics, materials, and structures.

You'll develop your knowledge and skills in building technology; computer-aided design; health and safety; the environment; hydraulics; ground engineering; and structural engineering.

Amey support you throughout the duration of your apprenticeship giving you extensive experience and involvement in many of our current projects.

Our designs include several disciples within Highways Infrastructure including: Structures (bridges), Highway, Drainage, Geotech (surveying ground conditions)As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto the Civil Engineering Degree qualification with one of our partnered training providers.

Your Degree Apprenticeship typically takes 5 years to complete and is fully supported through a combination of face-to-face lectures, e-learning materials, and access to the Training Providers team of specialist lecturers and Coaches or 1-2-1 advice and support.
