Client Manager- Statement of Work

London – Hybrid

About the role:

As a Client Manager, you will be leading and taking full responsibility for the successful management of the UK client account and service delivery whilst achieving budget and growth on the client account by maximizing fees and recognizing opportunities.

You will be establishing and developing key client relationships in line with the client’s contract plan along with maintaining an effective partnership with the client and continually developing account initiatives.

What it looks like day to day:

Building Lasting Relationships:

Ensure effective, efficient, and professional service delivery to key clients and candidates.

Provide expert advice and support on market conditions, engage and educate stakeholders on talent solutions, and manage client or candidate disputes promptly.

Developing and Evolving Your Account/Portfolio:

Drive the achievement of individual and team fees, generate growth opportunities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement client development strategies.

Monitor competitor performance, promote Hays' services, and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Delivering an Efficient and Compliant Process:

Work with internal teams to ensure effective end-to-end recruitment processes, manage all client placement requirements effectively, and ensure compliance with service agreements and legislative requirements.

Uphold and improve the quality of service provided to both internal and external customers.

Optimizing Systems and Business Intelligence:

Record and report on activity and performance, contribute to reports by analysing data, ensure all client reporting requirements are met, and champion recruitment technology systems.

Conduct regular data integrity reviews and support the rollout and usage of any recruitment technology system if required.

Managing and Developing Your Teams:

Develop and maintain a high-performance culture aligned with Hays values, lead by example, and support corporate initiatives.

Ensure a professional and productive workplace, effectively source and recommend new staff, and manage individual and team performance through regular communication, coaching, and feedback.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Experience in client account management or related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and motivating teams
  • Previous experience in the recruitment industry.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and recruitment technology systems.
