PLEASE NOTE: This role will be aligned to one of our key Public Sector customers, and the role holder will need to undergo or already hold UK security clearance to 'SC' level. This means we are unable to consider applicants who are not a UK national or have not been a resident in the UK for a minimum of five continuous years.

As a Cloud Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of cloud technology using your skills in a varied and evolving consulting role. You will solve complex customer-facing challenges, helping diverse organisations to create and modernise data analytics platforms as they move to the cloud.

You’ll analyse and define requirements, and then manage the end-to-end execution process. You will liaise with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the timely delivery of appropriate outputs, in accordance with each of the project plans and deadlines. Exposure to a wide variety of technologies and software is a given and you will be expected to investigate the use of new technologies as they become available.

You will understand the value of our long relationship with Google, and help to grow and promote our data analytics capabilities within their teams.

This role can be based fully remotely in the United Kingdom only, with hybrid office working available from one of our offices in Swindon, Manchester, London or Edinburgh.

Requirements:

  • Previous professional experience working in a Data Analytics role, ideally in a customer facing consultancy role.
  • Commercial experience working with Looker Enterprise.
  • Strong data processing experience and understanding of developing against common database technologies (such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc).
  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills and proven ability to apply creative and innovative thinking, identify and support the resolution of data quality and integrity issues.
  • Understanding of developing visualisations and reports using BI solutions (such as Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc).
  • Confident in presenting findings in an effective, structured and actionable way to a wide set of audiences with varying levels of understanding.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, organisational and time management skills, being able to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Ability to meet regular and ad hoc deadlines, working under project plans and deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to data modelling / data science methodologies is a bonus.
  • Prior experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience working in an Agile team, understanding of project management methods, disciplines and project lifecycles.
