CNC Setter Operator
Harrogate, £28k, opportunity to learn programming, varied work, training, and development
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Operator or someone who has recently undertaken a mechanical engineering qualification to develop further skills in CNC programming. Working in a small engineering company you will produce small batch and one-off components for a range of industries working to precision tolerances.
As the CNC Setter Operator you will:
?Work on a range of CNC lathes and milling machines
?Work to drawings setting up machines and tooling
?Produce precision components
?Ensure products quality
?Develop skills in programming
The Person:
?Previous operating experience with CNC machines, wood machines or similar
?Have experience of setting up tooling and basic machine maintenance
?Be computer literate
?Be keen to develop your skills further and learn programming
?Be able to read basic engineering drawings
?Have a can do attitude
?We are very interested to hear from apprentice-trained machinists
